Aseptic Surge Tank
An aseptic surge tank holds treated product before transfer to an aseptic filler. The upstream treatment, aseptic tank connection and filling arrangement are defined together for the product and project requirements.
Discuss Your Aseptic Surge Tank Requirements
Aseptic Tank Hook-up
The hook-up connects an aseptic surge tank to the filling head through product piping, fittings and an aseptic cluster valve. A steam barrier and condensate trap form part of the connection arrangement.

Connection Scope
The hook-up describes the connection equipment; tank volume and vessel design are specified separately.
| Item | Configuration |
|---|---|
| Connection duty | Aseptic surge tank to filling head |
| Cluster valve | Aseptic steam-barrier type |
| Barrier equipment | Steam barrier with condensate trap |
| Product-contact piping, fittings and valves | AISI 316L stainless steel |
| Other specified wetted parts | AISI 304 stainless steel |
| Sequence integration | Pre-sterilization, production and CIP coordinated with the filler PLC |
| Utilities | Steam, compressed air and instrumentation power within the filling package scope |

Discuss Your Tank and Filling Connection
Describe the treated product, working volume and holding requirement, upstream treatment, filler connection and control integration. Tank volume and vessel design are specified separately from the hook-up equipment.
