Filter Press
A filter press separates liquid from retained solids using pressure filtration. Liquid passes through the filter medium to the filtrate outlet, while retained solids collect within the filtration section.

Filtration in Juice Processing
Filtration can reduce suspended solids before subsequent processing or blending. The degree of solids removal depends on the selected medium, feed characteristics and operating conditions.
Equipment and filter media are selected together to suit the required separation duty and the product characteristics.
Position in Aloe Vera Processing
In MNM’s reference aloe juice preparation route, the filter press follows the decanter and precedes the buffer and blending section. The filtered juice then joins the prepared aloe pieces or crushed aloe for the selected product formulation.
