Process Tanks
Tanks hold, mix and transfer products between stages of food and beverage processing. The process role, product, working volume and holding time guide the arrangement.
Discuss Your Process Tanks Requirements
Mixing Tanks
A mixing tank combines ingredients or components according to a defined formulation and proportions. The agitation and addition arrangements are selected for the product. Load cells can be fitted to weigh and control the proportions, together with other mixing equipment as required. MNM designs and manufactures mixing tanks in-house.

Blending Tanks

A blending tank collects and mixes product from an earlier process stage to make the batch more uniform and bring its characteristics to the required target before transfer. For example, products with different concentrations can be blended in suitable proportions. MNM designs and manufactures blending tanks in-house.

Storage Tanks

A storage tank holds raw materials or products before use or transfer and maintains their condition according to the storage requirements. Agitation, insulation or temperature control may be included where required. MNM designs and manufactures storage tanks in-house.

Buffer Tanks

Buffer tanks provide a holding stage between parts of the process. Their working volume, holding time and connections follow the product and the equipment before and after the tank.

Define the Tank by Its Role
| Role | Information for selection |
|---|---|
| Mixing | Ingredients, formulation and addition requirements |
| Blending | Incoming batches and the required batch characteristics |
| Storage | Product condition, holding requirements and transfer arrangements |
| Buffer | Working volume, holding time and connections between stages |
Discuss Your Tank Requirements
Tell us the product and the tank's role, working volume, holding time, mixing requirements and temperature conditions where known. Include the piping and equipment to be connected.
