Heat exchangers transfer heat to or from food and beverage products for heating or cooling.
Applications include cooling liquid products after heat treatment and providing heating or cooling within a processing line.
Equipment selection depends on the product characteristics, required temperatures, flow rate and operating conditions. Connections to tanks, piping and other process equipment are defined for each project.
Muninmax designs and manufactures tubular heat exchangers for heating and cooling liquid products. The exchanger can be supplied as standalone equipment or integrated into a processing system, with design based on product characteristics, temperatures, flow rate and operating conditions.
Shell-and-Tube Pre-Heater
The modular pre-heater uses a welded shell-and-tube arrangement. An RTD PT100 sensor and PID controller regulate temperature. The number of modules is selected for the heating duty.

Feed and Process Connections
Product can be fed from a storage tank to the heat-exchanger system's buffer tank to support a consistent feed. Connections to tanks, piping and the following process are defined for the project.
Discuss Your Heating or Cooling Duty
Share the product, required flow rate, inlet and outlet temperatures, operating conditions and available utilities. These details establish the exchanger arrangement and module selection.
Tubular Heat Exchangers
Muninmax designs and manufactures tubular heat exchangers for heating or cooling liquid products. The design is matched to the product's characteristics and operating conditions, and the equipment can be positioned where temperature control is required in the process.
Tubular heat exchangers can be supplied as standalone equipment or as part of a processing system.

Feeding the Heat Exchanger
Muninmax recommends feeding product from the storage tank to the heat-exchanger system's buffer tank. This arrangement provides a more consistent product feed and helps achieve more accurate and stable product-temperature control.
