Muninmax provides machinery and project support for pineapple processing. The process is developed around the intended product, including pineapple tidbits in pouches, pineapple juice and concentrated pineapple juice.
One application is pasteurizing pineapple tidbits packed in plastic pillow pouches. After heating and cooling in the Cooker and Cooler, the packages move to a dryer that removes moisture from their exterior.
Muninmax designs and manufactures the continuous Cooker and Cooler. It combines heating and cooling in one machine, receives products after packaging and operates at temperatures up to 100°C.
Fruit inspection, sizing, washing and peeling prepare the fruit for juice extraction. An Inspection Conveyor can be used in the fruit-inspection stage.
The juice-processing line includes heat treatment, cooling and aseptic filling. Equipment selection and connections are considered around the product, process and packaging requirements.
For concentrated pineapple juice, the concentration stage connects storage to the evaporator and then to sterilizing:
The Evaporator receives pineapple juice from storage and removes part of the water to increase its concentration. The concentrated product then moves to sterilizing, followed by cooling and aseptic filling.
