Fluid Handling
Triplex Piston Pump
Three-piston pumping for food and beverage processing.
Discuss Triplex Piston Pump Requirements
MNM designs and manufactures Triplex Piston Pumps. The pump uses three piston pumping assemblies, with the main pressure seals mounted on the piston heads and moving with them inside the cylinders.
Product and Process Requirements
Discuss your product consistency, transfer duty and operating conditions with MNM. Operating pressure, product temperature and product piece size are specified according to the product and pump design for each project.
Example Specifications
The following specifications describe one example configuration. Capacity for each application is specified according to the product and operating conditions.
| Specification | Example configuration |
|---|---|
| Product-contact material | Stainless steel AISI 304 |
| Example capacity | 18 m³/h |
| Piston outside diameter × stroke | 200 × 200 mm |
| Main motor power | 10 HP |
| Suction pipe diameter | 5 in |
| Discharge pipe diameter | 4 in |
| Number of pistons | 3 |
| Number of spherical valves | 6 |
| Spherical valve diameter | 4 in |
Controls and Electrical Supply
A machine control panel is included as standard. The control configuration and components are specified for each project.
Standard electrical supply is 380 VAC, three-phase, 50 Hz. Voltage and frequency can be configured to suit the customer's electrical supply.
Cleaning and Seal Selection
Cleaning-in-place (CIP) is the primary cleaning method, circulating water and cleaning solutions through the product flow path.
Seal materials are selected for each project to suit the product, operating temperature and cleaning conditions.
Discuss Your Pumping Requirements
Share your product characteristics and transfer duty. Where known, include:
- The required flow rate and operating pressure.
- Product piece size and temperature.
- Cleaning requirements and equipment connections.
This information helps define the configuration for your process.
