Drum Peeler and Crusher
DPC machines accept whole pineapples after surface cleaning. An integrated halving unit splits each fruit before the drums scrape the flesh away from the peel. Crushed flesh leaves through the centre outlet, while peel is discharged through two side outlets.

Model Selection
| Model | Processing duty | Drive motors |
|---|---|---|
| DPC-3 | 3 tonnes of whole fruit per hour | 2 × 3 kW |
| DPC-5.5 | 6 tonnes of whole fruit per hour | 2 × 5.5 kW |
| DPC-7.5 | Recommended for 8–10 tonnes of whole fruit per hour | 2 × 7.5 kW |
All three models accept fruit diameters of 75–160 mm. Each uses two drive motors, one per side; the number in the model name identifies the motor rating per side. For an 8–10 tonne-per-hour requirement, select the DPC-7.5 arrangement.
Construction and Controls
The frame, drums, housing and product-contact parts of all three DPC models are AISI 304 stainless steel. Adjustment screws position the drums for the fruit size. A machine electrical control panel is included as standard.
The standard supply is 380 VAC, three-phase, 50 Hz. Voltage and frequency can be configured to match the customer's electrical system.

Selecting a Drum Peeler
- Fruit size range and feed condition
- Required whole-fruit throughput
- Preparation for juice extraction and connection to the next stage
Position in Juice Preparation
Recovered pineapple flesh continues to juice extraction. The preparation arrangement and its connection to the next stage are defined for the project.
